The game's interface is minimalist and fresh. I'm not too interested in CPUs/AIs in checkers, so I won't comment on that. However, I value multilayer mode. One suggestion: Slow down the animations. Because of the high speed of the animations, when introducing checkers to people, I'm stuck having to explain why a piece just seemingly teleported horizontally across the board, disappearing with a handful of pieces. Otherwise, allow players to input every jump till the end of the jump sequence.

No fun for me unfortunately, because it's too difficult at any of the intelligent levels - computer way ahead - or too easy at random. Could it be easier in the first levels with more limits to the AI as to avoid the strategy of jumping many pieces in a single move for example etc?

I suggest to start at random, get into a winning position, and then play from there under a harder level. As your game improves, you can make the switch earlier. This way, hopefully the game will provide a challenge for a while to come!
